Well what can I say? It is unfortunate that the billboard got vandalized, but not really surprising. Atheism is, I think, a scary prospect for theists. It is something that makes them uncomfortable. I remember having several conversations with theists about religion, and pretty much without fail they would seem almost scared when they found out that I don't believe in gods. At the end of the day I think that the vandalism actually does a bit of good for atheism, since it gives yet another example of how theists don't really practice what they preach. It is still frustrating to feel like we all live in a world where you are only really given freedom of expression/speech if you believe what the majority does.
