I accept that leaving out Twelfth Planet Press was certainly an error on my part, and that some of my language choice may have been misinterpreted as somehow insinuating that women don’t write horror, but that was never my intention.

Women do write horror, and great horror it is. This is why the first book out through my publishing house was a Kaaron Warren collection, and then a noir novella by Deborah Sheldon, both great writers of horror and thriller literature.

Also, Twelfth Planet Press have obviously made a big impact in horror, especially in publishing female horror writers and winning many awards with published works, and to have left them out was, in truth, a glaring omission.
I agree that the article in question would have been more accurate if TPP was included.
