http://www.rageagainsttheminivan.com/ : laptop giveaway

I give back by regularly working with my kids to donate household items and toys we don't use, and then giving them to local organizations and shelters. Fun prize, thank you!

http://www.rageagainsttheminivan.com/ : finding our thing

I can totally relate to this. In a recent attempt to find our "thing" I bought myself a bike. WITH a baby seat. (Um, hello? WHO AM I?! That was a hard purchase for me.) But my husband and son love biking, and I love that my kids want to be active and outdoors, so this is my attempt at trying a new thing. You'll find yours, hopefully soon. Good luck!

http://wwwjackbenimble.blogspot.com/ : Children and Blogging

Great post. While I don't worry about sharing info about my kids at this point (ages 4 & 2), I'm very aware that not so far in the future it will be something I should ask their permission for. It will also be interesting to teach them about online privacy, as I openly (smartly, I hope) share about myself and our family through blogging.

Mountain Mum : I'm a mom...

Haha, I could have written that exact list! I find myself humming the theme song to Wonder Pets in the hallways at work. I understand my kid when he says "monkey ice better me!" because of course nobody else does. I have no problem wiping a booger off his face with my hand. :) Wouldn't trade it for the world though, right?!

He DID NOT say that?! Wow. Did he think that situation was going to turn out well for him?! Please tell me you were able to discipline somehow... not sure how that works in schools these days.

http://unpolishedparenting.blogspot.com/ : To Tell or Not To Tell

I totally get the appeal of being anonymous. Mine is not at all - family, coworkers, friends, etc all read it and I definitely censor myself because of that. But your husband should probably know... I know I would want to know if my hubs was writing something on a regular basis, I would want to read it. I bet if you explain your situation, he'll keep it on the down low.

http://unpolishedparenting.blogspot.com/ : WMW: Lunch Time!

I don't have a set routine... I try not to go out too much, and sometimes I just eat at my desk to hurry though my day and get home to my boys. But it is nice to get out once in awhile. Unfortunately for my wallet, the mall is a block away so sometimes I accidentally end up there.

http://unpolishedparenting.blogspot.com/ : WMW: My Motherhood Confessions

Different ones. With the second child I had a lot of "things to do different" and I stuck to my guns on most of them. But every child is different (my two are VERY different) and so new challenges and moments arose w/ him. I guess that's the joy of having kids, right? Always something new! HA! But he never slept in his carseat!

Loved your list and I can totally relate. I remember trying to get ready for a wedding two weeks postpartum, and baby boy was not cooperating. I called my husband (at work) in tears screaming at him that I looked ugly and couldn't go to the wedding unless he came home this instant to help me. A tad dramatic, looking back. :) My major confession? Letting my little one sleep all night in his carseat for the first 2 months of his life. It was the only.way.he.would.sleep. My goal with #2 was to not do that. :)

Pajamas and Coffee : Ga-GAH

I didn't want to like her, but I do. I have respect for people who stand up for what they believe in. Is she odd? Yes. But if she's using some of that for social good - more power to her.
