I think it makes lots of sense that you'd want to see the birth of Charlotte, and your twins. My own personal events hold more interest for me than other historical events.

I would also love to be a fly on the wall at the birth of all my children: the first two were unplanned c-sections, and the last was a (last minute) planned c-section of my twins. Epidurals and spinal really zone me out, so I feel I missed a lot. I would love to see all the gory bits, but that could be because I'm studying nursing and am planning on doing a post-grad in midwifery.

Sarah, 51kms is an awesome effort for the week, no wonder you're sore though. I have to say market laksa is one of the things I miss most about Darwin. Just about every friday evening during the dry was spent at Palmerston markets eating spring rolls and laksa, and buying cheap bananas.

Congratulations on your first half-marathon Sarah! I'm hoping to achieve the same at some stage, although right now I can only manage about 3kms. I have only just started running though. I think if you can manage 21.1kms in Darwin during the wet, you'll be fine in Sydney in May.

HB - Way to go on the PUC, 60 consecutive push ups is not to be sneezed at.

Your story gave me shivers. I'm so glad that Christmas memories can bring you joy after the loss of your Charlotte. Thank you for sharing, it's beautiful.

Ps. We're a Quilton family too.

Yum! I think I might have to give the cookie christmas tree a go when the kids start their school holidays.
