I'm so bummed I missed PAX South! It looks like you had a fantastic time. Can't wait to watch the video of your panel! I also worried about whether or not I'd find things to do at that con since I don't really identify as a "gamer". I play a few games here and there (mostly JRPGs), but I don't dedicate more than a few hours a week to games. Glad to know there's a lot of variety!

Great list! I'm trying to incorporate more reading for leisure into my daily routine. I've started turning off my phone before I go to bed and reading a chapter from a book. It helps me get to sleep so much faster!

Great review! I've only been to one nerdy burlesque show, but it was an absolute blast! I'll definitely have to check this book out soon. I love that they're going with self-publishing for their next book and will have more representation.

I only have Ejen's book from this list, but I'd love to get the others! I also liked the 1001 Incredible Costume & Cosplay Ideas book that came out a while back.

Outside of sewing and commission goals, I'd love to help out with a con panel this year, maybe on sewing.

Great post! I love circle lenses. They really give a costume a fantastic extra pop (speaking of, I totally need to get some more).

Pinky Paradise is the best! My eyes are a medium-dark brown, but their circle lenses completely change the color of my eyes. I love that they include photos of other customers to help you choose.
