Laughner had stalked Congresswoman Giffords since 2007 BEFORE the Tea Party was created or anyone but the most politically astute had ever heard of Sarah Palin! [outside of Alaska] DEMOCRAT Jarred Lee Laughner stalked Giffords and tried to kill her because she was a "blue dog" and not the typical, viciously Anti-American democrat. Laughner was spurred on by attacks on Giffords from democrat party hate sites like the Daily KOS. Marcos Maulitsas, KOS publisher, called Giffords "a traitor" and put a bull's-eye, and ACTUAL bull's-eye on her on his website. Placing the blame on Governor Palin, and the Tea Party, for something done by a DEMOCRAT, is NOTHING SHORT OF BLOOD LIBEL. You democrats are evil, and you breed evil. Wow I expected this article to be a Palin bashing deal, but the author got it 100% right! Well, except for the fact she also has written two New York Times #1 best sellers, her 1st, Going Rogue, breaking sales records on the way to #1. I bet he thought he was being sarcastic with the headline, but while maybe not an "expert" Palin has solid foreign policy experience and a better focus on things than either Romney or Obama. People underestimate her at their own peril. Low information voters [and lazy people] don't realize the unique position the Governor of Alaska holds when it comes to national security. Sarah Palin was Commander-in-Chief of the Alaska National Guard, the only Guard in the nation on permanent deployment. Governor Palin shared strategic command over the 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard, our first line of defense should Russia, North Korea, China, or any other eastern force attack. The 176th Air Control Squadron of the Alaska Guard routinely escorted Russian "Bear" bombers out of Alaskan air space while Palin was Governor. On her watch the 176th earned the Air Force's Outstanding Unit Award. Palin was also Commander-in-Chief of the Alaska State Defense Force. A recognized militia that is part of Homeland Security's national security planning. These are decedents from the people who, during WWII, fought the Japanese when they invaded the Alaska territories. It just so happens Obama in September of 2009 decided to stop paying those WWII heroes their hard earned pensions. It was Obama's typical street thug behavior. There's only a handful of these brave Alaskan's left, but Obama wanted to piss Palin off, and he did. After pushing legislation through that would have the state make sure these heroes never missed a paycheck, Palin went to war with Obama and had their pensions restored. Sarah Palin has been beating on Obama since day one. As Governor, Palin also had troops in Kuwait [who she visited in 2007] and Kosovo [she went there in 2009]. During the 2009 trip she also participated in "Operation Northern Edge" an annual training exercise off the coast of Alaska. She was aboard the air craft carrier U.S.S. Stennis. Governor Palin received regular high level national security briefings, as do all Alaska Governors. Romney decided to ease off on Obama after he whipped him like a rented mule in the last debate. That was a HUGE mistake and Obama, with the assistance of the moderator [yet again], was able to spew lie after lie after lie. I wish Romney would have told the moderator to but out, and stayed on Obama's tail. I'm also highly disappointed Romney didn't talk about Fast and Furious. That's another on a long list of Obama Failures™. Obama facilitated mass murder in Mexico. Over 300 innocent Mexicans have been slaughtered by the automatic weapons Obama and Holder put in the hands of drug lords. Brian Terry and Jamie Zapata, two border agents, were also slaughtered by Obama's guns. Both Obama and Holder belong in prison for the rest of their natural lives over this. It's also likely weapons Obama shipped to Libya killed Ambassador Stevens and the three other brave men in Benghazi. Romney gave a poor debate performance. Obama has given a worse performance as President.

The only reason Sarah Palin was "Palinized" was because clowns like you, Tobin, and the rest of the GOP Establishment losers stood by and allowed it to happen. I like Paul Ryan, but he is no Sarah Palin. Not in skill, not in Accomplishments. Palin has a great back story too. Grew up in a log cabin, literally, in the Alaska wilderness. Chopped wood daily for heat. Paid her own way through school, has a degree in journalism and communications. As Mayor of Wasilla took a dirt road village and turned it into the fastest growing city in the state. Built roads and infrastructure while at the same time lowering taxes. Palin created a business friendly city that is the trading hub for the entire Mat-Su Valley, an area roughly the size of the state of Delaware. The current Mayor credits Palin for the almost 50,000 people a day who shop there. As the state's top oil and gas regulator Palin took on corruption in government, and in the relationship between government and Big Oil. It was from that powerful position that she uncovered massive corruption within the Republican Party. When she was done, the state GOP chair and the Attorney General were finished. Then she took down the sitting Republican Governor in a landslide. Palin was the most popular governor in the country with approval ratings in the 90s. She was the most fiscally responsible Governor in the country, slashing wasteful spending, while still improving the state. She took on Big Oil and reformed the corrupt relationship between lawmakers and oil executives. She changed the way Big Oil would purchase crude oil from the Alaskan people, who by constitutional writ, own all of the oil and gas under the ground. Corrupt politicians taking payoffs had allowed Big Oil to screw Alaska out of billions of dollars. She also created the largest infrastructure project in North American history, something others had tried to do for 30 years. It took her two. Again, had you worthless Republican hacks stood with Governor Palin, instead of joining in with the liberal filth that attacked her, we wouldn't have the word "palinized" to throw around. Establishment Republicans are part of the problem, not the solution. Paul Ryan is a good guy, but he's got a long way to go before he's worthy of comparison to Sarah Palin.

John, insurance is one thing, TAXPAYERS are quite another. Sandra wasn't talking about insurance, she was talking about the government paying for her stuff. And the government is you and me pal. You seem to be a reasonably intelligent guy. How can you get it so wrong? I keep reading your comments and you sound more angry than anything else. I get angry, I get that way myself, but I don't get why you are so angry. You seem to hate "attention whores" but you have a website where you post your opinions. Nothing wrong with that, I'm a prolific blogger with a decent readership as well. But neither one of us do this for our health. We write hoping someone will read whatever we think is important enough to say. I don't get it. I don't understand the anger. I really don't get the hatred towards Bristol Palin. She's done some stupid things in her life, like getting hooked up with that leech Levi Johnston, and most of her problems stem from that. But she's figured out a way to earn a living without going on the government dole. You may not like it, and that's OK, but that doesn't mean your hate is warranted. You're calling Bristol Palin a "homophobe" even though there is no evidence than that. This is supposed to be a "TV" blog. If you want to criticize the kid's work, go after the producers and editors of "Life's a Tripp" over at Lifetime. They've managed to take some reasonably interesting video and turn it into an unwatchable mess. You seem to think that just because she's not for gay marriage, she's a homophobe. I simply pointed out that Obama was also against gay marriage until he needed to pander for votes. In fact, while a couple of states allow gay marriage, in each case it was judicial activism, not the will of the people that made it happen. Anytime it's put to a vote, Americans vote overwhelmingly against it. All political parties, all races, and sexes. As I posted above, Conservatives4Palin, one of the most widely read Conservative websites, that gets over a million hits a week, has a number of gay men who write for them. The National Organize4Palin leader, and California Organize4Palin director is a gay man. You REALLY think if Bristol Palin or her mother hated gays this would be the case? BTW, this is all common knowledge among Conservatives. Look I appreciate the spirited debate, but you are mad at the wrong people. Conservatives like Bristol Palin are not your enemy. And marriage is a religious thing. Always has been. It has tradition that dates back centuries. Frankly, if I had my way, the government would be out of the marriage business. We'd have civil unions in which people grabbed up a couple of lawyers, produced a contract and went from there. Not as romantic, but would solve a lot of problems. Then if people wanted the religious ceremony, go for it. Obviously gays wouldn't have a religious ceremony, because almost every religion on the planet frowns on it. But as far as having a legally recognized union, they'd be equal to everyone else. Oh, one more thing, it was Governor Sarah Palin who stopped the Alaska legislature from discriminating against gay couples in employ of the state. They wanted to deny same sex couple benefits. She shut them down. Again, I appreciate the spirited debate, but you are completely wrong about Bristol, and the tone of your article is insulting. I know liberalism trumps common sense many times, but you're missing the boat. Conservatives are more likely to accept gays than are your fellow liberals. Ask they guys over at HillBuzz. They are from Boystown, Chicago. They were huge Hillary Clinton supporters, and since they knew what Obama was first hand, can't stand the man. Once Clinton lost, they learned of Sarah Palin, and are some of her hardest working supporters. She's met the guys several times. They've been to her events and treated better than by the democrats they know! In fact, they've since become more conservative and the "Hill" in HillBuzz no longer represents Hillary. Who's an attention whore? ABC called Bristol Palin up a couple of seasons ago because they wanted RATINGS. It just so happened it turns out they were right. America loved the kid and took her all of the way to the Top 3 in the contest. The ratings were the best they'd had in years. Conservatives are powerful, but they didn't do that all by themselves! As for Limbaugh, Sandra Fluke called herself that. Oh and she wants YOU to pay for her birth control, not herself. That's what the entire controversy was about, You need to get better talking points. Did Limbaugh go too far, off course he did, but so did she. . So yeah, your right, Sandra Fluke said something outrageously stupid so she could get her "name in lights." As for Bristol, what the hell? She's offered a legitimate opportunity to compete and earn a living on a show that most of the country finds entertaining. Not a thing wrong with that.

Name one time in modern history that some 3rd party won? It's a fact that Ross Perot not only elected Bill Clinton, but re-elected him as well. Ego driven trolls like Perot and Paul are part of the problem, not the solution. Now having said that, I friggin' HATE the GOP. I want to see it go the way of the Whigs, and be replaced by a more Conservative party that actually cares about ethical behavior and smaller government. It's too late this election cycle to do anything, but the day after Mitt Romney is elected is the day we need to start forming this new, VIABLE party to replace the GOP. It will take 4 years to build it. [at minimum] Right now, beating Obama and as man democrats in Congress is all that matters. Romney will be the official nominee. I can't stand him, but Obama is a communist and must be defeated at any cost. We can always take Willard out in 2016.

Double dipping, charging taxpayers TWICE for his trips, and of course taking billions in earmarks even after the moratorium was imposed. Ron Paul is part of the problem, not the solution. Thankfully, since he's not running for re-election, his career is over. All he and his insane cult are doing is hurting his son Rand's career. That is a shame because Rand seems to be the somewhat sane member of the family. Only time will tell, but he doesn't seem to be as crazy as his old man.
