The 'mental Shaman : Twitter Dev Chat: Shaman Edition

Hm… the above-stated raises more questions than it gives answers. The only thing that makes me happy so far is the return of CC in heroics / raids. I can’t remember when I was using Hex in PvE environment last time.

The 'mental Shaman : Breaking the Chain, Lightning the Load

That reminds me, when I was elemental shaman, I was filling gaps between Lavabursts with CL as much as I could and prioritized CL over LB because of its short casting time and nice crits.

The 'mental Shaman : Ghostcrawler Gave Us A Sparkul Pony

I’ve noticed one problem with those Celestial Steeds: they do not scale properly with the size of your character model, so Night Elfs and Draenei look like as if they straddle a baby pony. Males at least.

I’ve been in Dalaran around 11 pm tonight and guess what I saw? 11 – 12 people riding those Celestial Steeds. A couple of alts below 80th were among them. So now I’m really not sure if I want to buy this mount after all… It seems to become the most common mount in the game. So I incline to postpone my decision to buy it… Same goes to XT pet btw.

I personally have nothing against Blizzard selling stuff in their on-line shop, as long as it doesn’t have any effect in game except prettiness. But on the other hand it reduces the actual value of such mount in my eyes. Like if, for instance, Rusted Proto-Drake you’ve mentioned symbolizes your hard work and some outstanding achievements, stuff bought directly from Blizzard will basically mean nothing in terms of your skill / game progress. What’ makes it even less desirable is the fact that every 2nd player on your realm is likely going to have it. From level 40. How do you like it? Edit: But I’m going to buy it anyway… Looks too good to miss it…

The 'mental Shaman : Mastering the Totem

Oh how I wish I had a couple more off-specs saved in my profile… Currently what I’d like to have is: - 2 healing specs (one for “everyday needs” and one for encounters like Valithria with improved Healing Wave) - 2 enhancement specs (1 PvE and 1 PvP) And then probably 1 PvP restoration off-spec and 2 elemental off-specs for PvE and PvP But that already makes 7 specs… Duh!

The 'mental Shaman : Restoration Shaman Basics [Guest Post]

Fair enough, one of these days I’ll probably make a separate post specifically about totems. But I’m not quite agreeing with what you said about the melee totems: in 25 men raid you might have at least 7-8 melees and 2-3 melees at 10 men raid. Apart from melee DPS don’t forget hunters and actually your tank.
