Also does Puget Sean's girlfriend (panel 3) look like old Mar? Short bob, little nose? Because: oh mannn.
When you know it's time to leave New York...
Ca we talk about whether the "poison" refers to Hanna or (more likely, Diane isn't stupid, she knows Eve and Will are boinking, and Eve drunkenly poured her heart out to her at the fire pit) Eve? I mean, yes, the eagle and the mushroom are very nice, but. DIANE JUST CALLED EVE POISON Y'ALL.
No, no. The most perfect summer vacation movie is obviously Independence Day.
"Please stop reminding me how awful we are." ... I read this as an ominous reference to whatever happened during the cut but it could just be my paranoia.
Wait, what? When did they bone?
Yeah, I can't tell if Hanna's "don't you dare" is because (1) she's pissed Will is gonna make them miss the train, or (2) she thinks Will's gonna wimp out on finally making an honest woman of Eve (so to speak), or (3) she doesn't want Eve along on this vacay because it'll ruin the friend mojo and she knows Will's gonna invite Eve, and/or as a (3a) *does* Hanna have a thing for Will? or at least is she so horny/lonely that she's considering it? Her final face makes me think that it's 3/3a...
Oh, I forgot about the crossfit thing. Hee.
Thank you for saying this, and much agreed. Marek couldn't explain why he'd come, Hanna got a little egotistical (because she's Hanna, and we love her), Marek knows her better than anyone (that change in his face between panels 7 and 8 though). It's a farewell, mixed feelings on both sides, no one did anything more wrong than they did on the first go-round. Just... grown-ups.
Hanna's expression in panel 4 (with the light falling on her face) is perfect. Surprise + jealousy + sadness + understanding + ohholyshit... It is the best.
