Yes, I understand. There are people who live in a dream state positive attitude, and do not like anything like reality. To them reality is negative. I had a contract employer like that once. I did one project, about two months. It was an experience I do not wish to repeat. Suck is a typical reality description, and would be negative to a dream state optimist.

Predators hunt. You have influence if you are going to self select as easy targets. That is up to you. Predators also hind where the pray is easy to get close to. Churches, religions, make this easy. Breath reality deeply.

For some of us, Atheism is just a phase; we move on to some positive name: humanism, realism, social justice, bright... Atheist is such a negative word.

Dark energy? Dark matter? spontaneous reactions? Gods? No god until proven otherwise, call it what ever you like, it is still a negative term. Reality, Realism... then we get to define what the term, used as a name actually means to us.

The real problem is our population has exceeded what spaceship earth can support long term, The maximum is about 3.5b, while we are ~7.8b and ignoring the problem. We have know this since the 1960's. A world one child policy is our only hope. The energy required to break the C - O bond is to high for anything other than solar energy (photosynthesis) to do economically, so new technology is likely just a pipe dream.
The end time may be coming, but it has nothing to do with Christianity.

The big problem is that the parents did not believe the children when they did tell. The parents respected the clergy and the church, and not their children. Oh well.

Our starting assumption may need to change to "all information on the internet is bullshit", where bullshit has the definition that the author does not know or care if the information is true or not. Even religion fits this definition. Then everybody loses.
