<title>The Internet Chef : What’s your favorite family dish? Chris Brogan shares his thoughts</title>
<link>http://www.theinternetchef.biz/2010/10/whats-your-favorite-family-dish-chrisbrogan-shares-his-thoughts/#IDComment106148363</link>
<description>My mum makes a great rice pudding, the way only she can make it. We&amp;#039;d have it on Sunday nights after &amp;#039;Little House on the Prairie&amp;#039; with Laura Ingles Wilder at 6pm. I think of the lounge room with the rocking chair. She also makes a great soup with roast chicken and vegetables, it takes hours to make, with barley. Only she can create that sustenance with its particular flavour. A dash of fresh lemon. I think the essential ingredient in all these dishes is THE MIND OF LOVE. &amp;hearts; I wouldn&amp;#039;t mind tasting Chris&amp;#039;s mum&amp;#039;s shepherd&amp;rsquo;s pie and Myriam&amp;#039;s grandmother&amp;#039;s caramelised apple compote. Maybe we should have a get together where we bring along our favourite dishes from our childhood and feel the contentment all around. </description>
