Sounds like you have some good challenges lined up! My library has been closed the last 2 days, so I'm catching up on some reading, too. :)

I read this book when I was a young teen but hadn't revisited it for a while. Then, I read King's newest book, which is a continuation of this story (and which I thought was a great book) -- so, just re-read Shining.

Really interesting ..... makes me wonder what it looks like on the inside (although maybe it's better left alone and whole).

I agree that it's all about balance. I only participate in a few memes, just because I didn't want my blog to be just those. I think the memes that suit me best are the ones where there's some discussion, like this one, or TGIF.

Dropping by from the Hop. I think it's interesting that you're not a re-read person --- I'm the opposite -- the books I own are the ones I want to re-read. :) I get a lot of books from my library, which helps me keep my physical collection of books to a manageable number .... although now that I'm hopping around, I'm a bit self-conscious about the fact that that number is 1000+ ..... sheesh.

Have a great weekend!

It's funny how logging books into something like GoodReads can really bring that number into focus! I have to box up some of mine, to make a bit more room (even though I'm restricting what I add to my shelves right now). :) I use LibraryThing for the books I own, and GoodReads for the books I own, and blog about (helps me make that little distinction for myself).
