Does the US Empire end in blood and thunder? Or will it fizzle out through its own internal contradictions?

The reason why the Kremlin takes a more passive stand towards the West could be that it hopes to fracture the West, split off Europe from the USA. By acting in the way it does Russia perhaps believes that it has a better chance of completing its gas pipeline to Germany, despite US objections and less chance of provoking Germany to stand by the USA. Given all the brain power in Russia it seems unlikely that an American knows better than they do what is in their interests.

The naughties and teens were defined by the rise of Asia and more specifically the rise of China but how will the twenties be defined? The consolidation of Eurasia? The fracturing of the West? or as Pepe says Techno feudalism. It's unclear to me at least but it seems conceivable that the processes defining the previous decades will continue to shape our current age. A wild cat outlying event such as a major war does not seem implausible however. All the new high tech killing machinery needs testing in the battlefield.

We had a major depression in between two world wars in the first half of the 20th Century and we still didn't get a revolution. I hope revolution is coming but I don't think it is a sure thing.

Is awareness increasing or decreasing? I think it is increasing but the stakes are much greater so we feel just as trapped. Were the 1960s and early 1970s a massive increase in awareness in the West? Does the present state of awareness make the 1960s seem dated and unaware?
In order to transcend differences a united global humanity needs a common myth but we don't have one yet.

I found the article very illuminating. I think it is the truth. It is an expansion of the truth.

As the USA's chief vassal state, the UK, has left the EU, and endowed the EU with more sovereignty as a result. If Germany follows its own interests and gets closer to Russia then the USA will be considerably weaker and Germany eventually much stronger. It may split the EU however.

By serious I mean did they have a plan and leadership with the intent to take power in the USA. They definitely didn't have either of those things.

'The revolution will not be televised' someone once said but in the era of hypermedia everything is filmed and posted. It makes events seem like a media product and the people participating like actors. Was it a coup or a mob of not very serious people being led by no one? If there is any serious intent behind this Trump movement, it would require Trump to countenance imprisonment and I doubt he is prepared for that.
