Parenting sure brings lots of mystery!!!
I am in the middle of renovating a school bus and moved on a couple of weeks ago. Clorex Wipes are my go to for everything that needs cleaning on the bus!
Love your stories, Kristen!

Kristin,
As a follower of your blog (my very first blog many years ago!) I am so saddened to hear that your beautiful family has been the target of the alt-right. I will take action and keep your family in my prayers.

Thank you. Having worked in the Middle East for 3 years I totally get your perspective.
I'm in Paris today in transit. Listening to BBC and Al Jazeera news, I am reminded how different the world is from what we hear on US news stations.
Blessings to you xo

Hi Shari, thank you for sharing your story. My daughter is now 31. Her violent outbursts started at 9 months old. My husband and I took every child rearing class available. We had two other "normal" kids. Jenni was permiscuous as a teen, used drugs, but did well in school. When she was arrested on a misdemeanor drug charge, the judge saw promise in her and instead of jail sent her to a long term (9 months) inpatient rehab facility. It was there, after many sessions with the psychiatrist, that she was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. That was 7 years ago and oh how wonderful the changes in her life have been. I send love and prayers to your family. You're doing a great job parenting and raising awareness!

I'd love to give you a hug in person, Ellen! Just the type of loving, compassionate, humanistic person I love knowing!

Thank you for sharing your story. I was grateful for state benefits during a rough patch in my life. And I, as a midwife, have cheerfully, gratefully and compassionately cared for many women over the past 20 years who were on state aid. Early and frequent prenatal care saves lives, both mom and babies. That should always be the only concern, if you're a loving, humanistic person.
Never, ever be ashamed of needing Medicaid! Ever. The only people that should be ashamed of themselves are people who judge you. I'm so happy things are looking up for your little family!!
