Agree The Hating Game was such a positive surprise! Loved it!

My brother was just telling me about Bernard Cornwell and gave me a few of his books so now I'm doubly excited to try them!

It is hard to find good contemporary romances! Some of my favorite contemporary romances (non-suspense) are the Escape to New Zealand series by Rosalind James, Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie, Unleashing Mr. Darcy by Teri Wilson, and The Blue Bistro by Elin Hilderbrand

So Swear on this Life -- I read it fast, too but totally agree with you re: the voice in that one. It did not work for me even though I liked her release last year. After seeing your review of Sweet Thing, I doubt I will even try it.

I didn't know you were an EIT fan -- I haven't read it yet but have always wanted to. Now may be the time! I'm not sure I want to read The Cursed Child -- I love HP but I have no interest in picking it up

Great review! I love love love this series (probably my favorite of all time) and you have hit the nail on the head. By book 4, you will be SO freaking invested in all of these characters that you won't know how you lived without them. I prefer to think of this series as magical realism but there is so much going on that it could span any number of genres. Looking forward to your thoughts on the other books ♥

Great review! This was definitely not my favorite of the series but I liked the moral and it did have some swoony scenes.

Great review! I liked this one a lot, especially who she ended up with! Definitely a lighter read but still fun

Great review! I could not agree with you more re: wishing I had this book when I was in hs!! I loved Nanette and her voice and this book was just so effortless and seamless for me. I, too, can't believe I haven't read this author's other works and now I can't wait to read them!!
