Typical straw man argument from a deluded leftist. Jackson creates a complete fabrication of what the Tea Party represents, then knocks it over with rhetoric using racial overtones and appeals to socialism as a panacea to "stop the problem."

I wasn't really interested in reading Cheney's book before, but now that NBC has invested "news" time to condemn Cheney and his book to this degree, I've put it on order. There's no better indicator that conservatism is on the right track than when it gets left wing talking heads riled up enough to spew with malice aforethought.

Obama's kept all those "illegal" breaches of power. Congress renewed the Patriot Act. Gitmo is still open for business. Why isn't NBC going after the current administration for its power-mongering?

Oh. That's right. The current administration is liberal.

Andrew makes a good point with good humor. (Thanks for the laughs Andrew!)

Hollywood's elite amaze me, maintaining a public politically correct face, while being a major force driving the objectification of women. I think the generic ingénue has always been a part of Hollywood culture, though Andrew's observation about ageism and cloning are valid complaints against modern movie making.

The strong role for women in modern films is a chimera. A strong woman is a Kathryn Hepburn in Philadelphia Story or a Bette Davis in All About Eve (or even Anne Baxter). Leather and Spandex do not strong women make, and neither does writing parts for women who merely act like men (i.e., Salt).

Unfortunately, the problem stems from weak-brained writers and producers whose "vision" of what constitutes strength has been sucked out of their brains by the Leftist Doctrine Zombie Apocalypse.

All snark aside, Krugman is a Keynesian through and through. What he's saying here with his analogy is that we "need" a huge crisis in order to force Americans to cough up more money in order to fund government programs. But what Krugman (and Keynes) neglect is the fact that government redistribution only hides the underlying problem with the economy. It never has solved it. So, in true socialist doctrine, these cranks' only response is to tell us that we merely haven't spent enough on the problem.

Does anyone else spot the two mechanical errors in On-Antibiotics' sentence? Thanks for the brilliant example of liberalized education!

Where did the MoveOn liberals find kids who could count to ten and read?

Yeah. I'd trust Bill Maher to represent any religion fairly. The guy doesn't know jack about the Mormons.

Oh. My. Gosh. This sort of propaganda cannot be real. Is Dr. Stanton Peele's middle name "Goebbels"? This kind of "analysis" has crossed the line from merely destructive to downright evil.

Of course, there is no such thing as good or evil in leftist dogma.

ooooOOOOOOoooooo. They've formed a bi-partisan committee. That's some real progress. Then that committee can suggest that twelve more committees be formed to create committees to look into creating committees to look into reducing the deficit.

What a joke of a government.

Wasserman is a True Believer. There are simply no facts that will get in the way of her liberal dogma.
