I don't know how these kinds of things work but can't imagine what it would take to monitor 1,000's of comments every day. I think if those who want to comment had to register with names and email addresses that would help. If it was me I'd present the articles and not even have comments, or I'd have comments on its own separate site, you'd have to go offsite if you wanted to make a comment. I don't know. If BR wants to facilitate a conversation it would be good if posters were encouraged to stay on topic and at some point certain posters just need to be banned.

Here are the facts. Three professionals, a medical examiner, a police detective and a first responder are reporting that Fuddy died in three very different ways. Severe internal injuries, drowning, and cardiac arrhythmia. How could anyone think it's normal procedure to report three separate causes of death for the same person? We also have three different versions of where she died. In the plane and they could not get her out. (the fire captain) Then in the plane but they were able to get her out. (the police Lt) Then in the water while floating in her life jacket (Keith Yamasaki who says he was holding her hand when she died) and finally on the island of Molokai. (Janice Okubo, Hawaii DOH) The article says nothing about Fuddy NOT dying. The facts presented and documented in the article show an ever changing story about the way Fuddy died. The people involved in this case can't get the story straight and when you can't get the story straight it's because there's something wrong with the story.

The article says nothing about Loretta Fuddy not being dead. I don't know why you would bring it up. The point made concerned the three different causes of death assigned to the same person. Obviously there is some kind of a cover-up going on here concerning the way Loretta Fuddy died. The point of the article is not whether or not she died. The point is that three people, a medical examiner, a police detective and a first responder, have said she died in three very different ways. A captain with the fire department said she died in the plane and they could not get her out. Yet a Lt with the police department said her body was recovered from the wreckage but an official with the Hawaii DOH said she died "on Molokai". When the story keeps changing it is most likely because someone is hiding something about the way she died and why would they do that?

Every death is ultimately the result of the heart stopping. It can be determined if the heart stoppage was brought on by drowning or arrhythmia.

hico7311 is saying the same over at freerepublic. Says he just stumbled on the article by accident. So I guess he stumbled on over here too.

According to witnesses she did not have to tread water to stay afloat. But of course "calm" is relative to the situation. I am sure there were some anxiety but no one mentions that she was panicked.

Yamamoto did not have the camera, it was Ferdinand.

I agree, we don't know what it is like, we have not been there. So we rely on eye witness accounts and they do not support a scenario of stormy weather or drowning accidentally. I think floating in the water is easier than maneuvering a boat.
