Just because it has a MLP logo stamped on doesn't mean it's automatically good (or even remotely bearable). Seems to be the logic used by a lot of people that like EQG.

Alright, on-topic comment time. What's the source saying they're giving out the set for free to stores? Going to try to convince my LCS owner to get in on this, but he might not believe me unless I can prove it.

I know that feel bro, I had a very similar experience. On Sunday, they literally ran out right when it was my friend and I's turn to get one. Three hours in line wasted. Probably would have got one if they had more organized lines and didn't make it easy for scrubs to cut in line.
