Obama was never "Editor" of HLR - he was President - big difference. It's like the difference between being valedictorian, and being elected Prom Queen. Literally. You get elected President of HLR. That's why there's nothing on the public record by him as Editor of the HLR - because he never was. It's just that the corrupt and/or lazy liberal press keeps repeating the lie - like the one about him being a "constitutional law professor". The truth is that he was a lecturer - he taught classes at night, while community organizing during the day. From 1997 - 2004 he was an Illinois State Sen. - then he got elected to the U.S. Senate. Think about this - he taught at the University of Chicago law school for TWELVE YEARS (1992 - 2004) - 12 yrs! - and was never named a professor. The man is a fraud. Amazing how much BS there is out there in JournoLista Land.

Just read her very recent book - "Composed". Why would Rosanne (correct spelling) Cash, who's been out of the spotlight for years, write a book? Because her daughter Chelsea (by ex Rodney Crowell) is trying to jumpstart her own musical career. Rosanne's book is full of inanities - what she wore to the funerals of June & Johnny & Rosie, June's daughter, & her own mother (no, I'm not kidding - down to the shoes); her unhappy teenage years - of course she was sent to elite private schools, and she sent her own children to elite private schools; her deep profound thoughts on Art & what it means to be an Artist; blah blah blah. Definitely not worth buying (got it from the library). Just one more nasty intolerant Leftist hater - like Sheryl Crow & Natalie Maines. Live like queens, while telling the rest of us that we should make do with less.

So Laura cites Politico's "terrific reporting", "fantastic reporting", and is "surprised" by this latest episode of Politico's BS? I've thought for some time that Laura is way too soft & too comfortable at those DC cocktail parties. I've refused to read Politico stories at all (unless linked by Drudge) for 8 mos now - seems every single story slams conservatives & lauds liberals. Its Leftist bias & elitist arrogance is extremely obvious. Laura needs to wake up & stop praising Politico. Mike Allen is a bona fide JournoLista (along with the infamous Ben Smith). She never once brought that up in the interview - and it's a very relevant point. She seems upset that Politico would use various "unnamed sources", when an even larger issue is this - is any of it true? At all??? Or did Mike Allen do what he does best - make up the whole story? Did Politico fabricate part or most of this story - or did its faux reporters create an entire work of fiction? Why does Laura - and why should we - believe one word of what a corrupt Politico JournoLista says?

Some conservatives/libertarians underestimate the power of Politico and the enduring influence of the JournoList scandal. Don't forget that only 173 of the 400+ JournoListas were outed. That means there were a lot more who continue to work as "journalists", or who teach at elitist Schools of Journalism, or work within the Obama admin. And Ezra Klein shut down the JournoList listserv, but started a new one - EssentiaList, which later became CabaList. Who knows what it's called now, but the fact remains that hundreds of elitist faux journalists, who are de facto lobbyists for the Obama admin, collude & conspire to denigrate & ridicule conservative candidates, and to whitewash liberal/progressive candidates. My point is that outside-the-Beltway journalists read Politico, and get their news & opinions from that site. They love its snide, arrogant tone - and its derision of all things Conservative. Its influence is widespread - we underestimate it at our peril. The only recourse we have is to boycott its advertisers. Politico propagandists & JournoListas have NO SHAME - NO HONOR - NO INTEGRITY.
