Nicely put. While I feel like that whole too PC thing is obnoxious, there are clearly those terms which hold a negative connotation. I've seen "you're so gay" & "fag" thrown around on facebook a lot among some straight male friends and it makes my skin crawl. Not only does it reek of insensitivity, it makes people look just plain stupid and ignorant.
