Some people (like some home owners) think all you have to do is throw a switch and "instant power". Boulder seems to have a plan to more aggressively move into the renewable energy market (which may or may not work), but they do realize it will take time and be a relatively slow process. Actually Solar prices are not as attractive as they once were due to power companies cutting back on what they reimburse solar customers, and technology doesn't seem to be holding up its' promises..

I'm looking at Cancer Research UK, and although there is a higher survival rate in North America than in Europe, that rate is app. 20% better (nothing like 6 times)?
The thing I cannot reconcile is that other countries seem to have as good (and often better) healthcare than the US has, at considerably less cost, as low as 50% less. Aside from some saying that they do it at the expense of not being able to get anywhere near the level of service that we get in the US, I have yet to see any valid examples of that either. The problem I see with a state by state operation is that the US has a very mobile population and going from a plan set up in Vermont or Colorado would in all likelihood be compared to a third world country in Mississippi?
Not really, I think we all deserve a good laugh. If I can make it there, I'd like to hear about their new ideas on controlling women's bodies and creating jobs..

OK, he made his statement. Now maybe he'll do something the correct way and not be a pain in the A$$ to others...
The best thing for Boulder to do is to keep talking about doing it themselves; while Xcel comes up with a better plan!
