I have seen the special before. I cant remeber if it said "live" on the screen or not. Maybe we can do a search for the past ones and see if its documented somewhere if it aired live or it was a taped live episode.

Thanks Lynn. I have seen the special before and it appears live. I just wasn't sure whether they were airing a taped live episode or real live time?? I still can't tell by the wording which one it is. It doesn't say exactly. It says the special will be on June 28 to reveal the winner?? Sorry but it could still go either way unless someone finds in the search blog somewhere that it is aired live and not previously taped live. Does anyone know for sure?

Of course that espresso will get your motor running. Make sure you have a project to work on or you wont know what to do with all that energy.

I am still hoping for a Birthday present come true. June 26th is this Saturday and I am dreaming.
I got two fortune cookies. One said, " A MESSENGER WILL SOON BRING GOOD TIDINGS" and the other said, "AN UNEXPECTED EVENT WILL BRING YOU RICHES".

Oh well here's to a miracle....All I know is that I believe anything can happen !!!

I am waitng for my husband to make coffee too. Although, I use to do Starbucks, now i just do simple DUNKIN DONUTS or Peats, Occasionally, I still make my home made espresso by hand (not machine). You know the old Italian perculator. Here's the receipe for anyone interested:
Cuban Espresso:
You take the very first drops of the espresso that perculated and pour it into a cup of about 1/4 sugar, you stir it with a spoon real fast until it looks like a carmel paste and it's smooth and creamy. Then when the rest has perculated you slowly pour it into the cup (with a spout) while stirring slowly so the carmel sugar paste rises slowly to the top.
Wala...you have what is called ontop the "Espumita". The froth that the machines make you just made by hand the old fashion way. To me it taste so much better. So you pour the rest of the espresso slowly into little demitasse shot glasses. Slowly so you have the thick layer of sugar on top. Your are set for the day.
