I definitely see where you're coming from with your review, Jeann! I finished this not long after 2014 started and really enjoyed it at the time, but I definitely see problems looking back now and have been hesitant to read the sequel ever since, but I thought the movie was pretty well-done and a solid adaptation and it has gotten me more pumped to read the sequel. Loved reading this, Jeann! :)

I love this post, Val! Though I usually have a pretty good memory for these sorts of things, there are times that I wish I had taken the time to write down notes immediately after finishing a novel! Thanks for sharing these tips! I'm sure they're going to help lots of other bloggers!

Yessss! I really need to read Anne Frank too! I've started it several times, but I don't know why I never end up finishing it...I borrowed BLLB from the library, so don't have a physical copy yet either. :( Though I did just win a giveaway and chose it as my prize, so that's super exciting! I NEED THE RAVEN KING SO BADLY! But at the same time, I really don't want the series to end. I'd also love a copy of The Heart of Betrayal so that I can binge read both TKoD and THoB. I pretty much need to read all of the first five. Well, not "pretty much," I do! Like, really badly. I have a copy of ACOTAR, so I'm hopefully going to get to that one soon, as well as Heir of Fire. I also want to read Ready Player One and Red Rising and I NEED Uprooted SO BADLY. Glad you enjoyed all of these ones, Jeann! Happy holidays! :D
