I'm not sure if this one would be a good fit for me, but I'm happy you enjoyed it! I think books with life lessons are important, but I've been reading a lot of Just For Fun books lately, and I really like where that keeps my headspace. :)

What an amazing post! I don't think that people realize how privileged they are, and that there are people in the world that can't afford to stay home. They've lost their only source of income and can't buy the groceries they need to feed themselves or their families. Being able to work, study, and exist at home is something we should be grateful for. We're able to make most of our ends meet, but there are those that can't. Thank you for sharing this!

Happy to hear you're loving it! I was thinking about getting it and just reading a few chapters between other books. It's massive!

I'm really looking forward to this one! Like you, I worry about big books, haha. I typically read at night when I'm in bed, and I've had plenty of books fall on my face (and the iPad a time or two). I hope you enjoy this one!

I've been curious about this series since reading The Raging Ones, so I'm happy to see you enjoyed it so much!

There are certain authors that are an auto-buy for me, so I'll almost always pre-order their books. Like you said, if I'm going to buy it eventually anyways, why not get it when it's cheaper? I prefer physical copies and paperbacks to ebooks. I feel like ebooks get lost on my iPad and I stumble across them randomly. Plus, I love holding books in my hand.

I've heard a lot of good things about this book and I cannot wait to read it for myself! Didn't she write something else that's coming out with Adam Silvera? What If It's Us? I think! It looks lovely, too. <3

I actually haven't read this series, but I've heard wonderful things about it! I was thinking about borrowing the first book from my library to see if it's something I'll enjoy. :)

I'm sorry this book didn't work out for you. It sounds like it has an interesting premise--very Silence of the Lambs. I hope your next book is a better fit!

The feels like historical fiction... does it read that way? It's just the zombie aspect makes me think it isn't... I think the concept is intriguing, and I love what you said about the diversity. I think a lot of genres, YA in particular, are trying to be more inclusive with their stories. Like you said, it's hard to name too many books at the moment.

The book I'm reading now, We Are Okay by Nina LaCour, has bisexual characters. They've been close in the past, but they don't really know where they stand now. It's been a really enjoyable book so far.
