You clearly need to try different professionals -- which can suck if you're in a small town where mental health providers are scarce. But depression is treatable. If you go to a doc who doesn't take you seriously, insist on seeing one who does. Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance: Phone: 1-800-826-3632 Mental Health America (For referrasl to mental health services or support programs in your community): 1-800-969-NMHA (6642) Also search your state/county's health department online. Depression sucks, but it's also treatable. I've been living with it for decades, but the point is, I'm living. You may need to try more than one or two counselors and psychiatrists (counselors help with talk; psychiatrists are MDs who can prescribe antidepressants) before you find a good fit, but it's worth it.

You really should give it a try -- genuinely surreal humor, cheerful absurdism, an amazing cast, and top-notch writing and acting. Huh. I sound like someone trying to convince a skeptic to watch MLP.... Except, sure, MLP doesn't have F-bombs detonating every 23 seconds.
