RE: Growing Presence of Asian Americans in hip hop: People of all countries are united under music and hip hop is no exception. Hip hop has a draw to it that you would only understand if you are a lover of hip hop. No matter where you are are from the music touches you deep. Asians have soul and it is no surprise that they can tend to lean to hip hop, for those that like it.

The article is so true. Hip hop is a form of expression the came out of struggle and the absence of a community voice. My wife and I fell in love with hip hop at a young age and we continue to use our love for hip hop as a tool to help us create music.

As producers it is hard for us to hear that hip hop died anywhere. The title alone broke my heart. It seems from the article that the music took a bad turn by being super offensive. In any event it is still sad to hear. We have to reach to the younger crew and lift them up too.

Got to go and check out this instrumental collection. We ourselves make hip hop instrumentals and we love the work. The work can be hard at times but the results outweigh the toil. Gensu Dean is an example of a talented DJ. In depth work and thoughtful execution. We have to study this one.
