I never saw my Dad much when I was younger, he was always out in the fields. Never went to any school event and half the time probably didn't know what school I was at!
I look after the kids now over 12 hours a day. So strange hearing their parents for 5 minutes in the morning before leaving for work saying to them "See you tomorrow!" and often, they don't.
The kids still understand that they are very much loved though even though often mummy and daddy aren't around together because of work. xxx
