These Iran negotiations have been mainly a diversion from attention on Israel's own vast nuclear arsenal. The "Deal" is indeed of U.S. siding with Iran and its allies Russia, China, Syria, against Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Israel is controlling the U.S. as always, and Israel doesn't want their own 200+ nukes discussed as part of the fundamental hypocrisy of such "talks"; and Iran probably can't stand the hypocrisy of it all.

Good for Iran. They are Israel's diversion, from Israel's far greater nuclear arsenal; and are standing up to Israel, and the U.S.

It wasn't so much a "huge public outcry" that stopped Obama from bombing Assa'ds chemical weapons last year, but Putin staring him down. Putin is really running the show, in Syria and of course Crimea and Ukraine, along with his key allies Iran and China.
