Hmmm, I feel unfaithful to my local booksellers everytime I have purchased from them - but at Christmas I HAVE been guilty (forgive me Indies!!!)

Gosh! [actual word used was stronger]. No, I don't buy it. Surely this is because it was purchased by Amazon. And whatever you say about Amazon (who wants this gorilla) they DO exceptional customer service that's for sure. The guess was they purchased BD to get into our market. But I would have thought they would try and get users over to Amazon for ebooks????

I'm only catching up on this Sean! Great post. Nice to hear from Susan hoping to explain Dmetri's post. But basically I think his post was unnecessary. The stats do talk for themselves (looking at this post http://jamestierney.wordpress.com/2012/03/03/the-.... I'm really hoping that this year (#aww2012), that the Stella Prize, that all the support online and by booksellers will make the required difference.

Funnily enough I just watched Ep4 in iView last night - I somehow missed 2 &3. I love this show, it's brilliant and I was laughing hard at many points. And frankly, why the hell shouldn't we have a show with all gays? There are enough on TV with all straight people!
