And Sony never made any promises that they will keep Minolta name when they bought it.

A7 menu system is excellent, according to all the reviews. Best in class as everything is customizable.

A7R can also used in crop mode, if the lens doesn't cover the sensor. It depends on a particular lems, on individual basis.

Strawman. IPhone image quality is not comparable to A7R, but A7R's image quality is comparable to 645D. A7R scores higher on dxomark than 645D(IPhone does not)/ A7R studio images are sharper than 645D. IPhone's are not. .
