Looks like you made a decent go of it for day 3! Good luck with day 4!

My oldest started middle school this year. Here, middle is 7th and 8th. Man has it been an emotional roller coaster ride. For me. He has been fine! They grow up way too fast! Good luck with today's goals and thanks for letting me hijack your idea.

This sounds like something I need to get in on. I am not very good at getting much in in the way of steps. Mostly because I have nothing to keep me accountable. We did get a wii fit u for christmas and it came with a little fit meter, basically a pedometer, that I try to wear every day, but without accountability, there's not a lot of motivation to get me moving. I sit at my desk most of the day.

How in the world do you keep up?? I would absolutely yank all of my hair out with three that little. I want to go crazy with my three and they are 12, 9 and 5. Oh, and my nephew who is 8 who lives with us with his mom. I am a planner too and I hate when things don't go according to plans and with the kiddos in my life, things NEVER go according to plan. My littlest has autism, so structure is key and it seems like by the end of the day, somehow everything always dissolves into chaos. You seem to have quite the handle on it though and you shall be my new Obiwon!

This book seems to be everywhere lately. I have seen reviews on so many different book blogs and it makes me wonder why I hadn't heard about it before. I am definitely going to have to check this one out!

This is a big one for me. Balancing. I am definitely not in high school, have a few kids and a couple of jobs, and balance is still an issue for me. I seem to employ the organized chaos method.

My son tends to be very noncommittal when he reads, and this is what I hope to correct. The problem he has is he reads so fast that he just misses things sometimes. He reads at a Junior High level for content, but sometimes he rushes and comprehension goes by the wayside. Thanks for the link!

Wait, there are places you can find review templates that ask questions? That might be helpful for my oldest who is 10 and has been asking about starting a review blog for middle grade books. Do you have links?

Absolutely. I was the perpetual wildchild as a teenager and got into a lot of trouble because I was trying to make friends. I realize now that that just is not anywhere near as important anymore.

If I could have a conversation with teenage me, I would tell myself to slow down because life was going to fly by too fast. I would also tell myself that what other people thought didn't matter and to stay true to myself.
