Agreed. It's very rude. I think of it like someone receiving a complement and rather than saying thank you, just giving you the blank stare. I read some blogs that have huge numbers of followers and no matter how many comments a post gets, they acknowledge every single one who took the time to leave a comment. Because they get it!
