I agree. I have been with SRT almost since the beginning and there are some things I'm really excited to see coming (the app, a growing community...) but I think there are some things that are going sour. The last few months has been "money money money" and "sell sell sell". I think the study pack is excessive. I mean- it was pretty, but not 30 bucks pretty. I think the most beautiful thing about the pack should be God's word (and I don't mean fancy little cards with God's word on it). It's just kind of disappointing to watch the focus shift. I'm sorry to sound mean- I just wanted to let you know how it looks from someone who has watched the whole process and been a HUGE supporter. Let's keep it simply focused on Him. Not all the frills.
I loved today's message. I love Nehemiah. The dude has some great qualities that I can be seeking to develop. I have so much I want to do, and I know those are desires that God has given me (Eph. 2:10) but I know its not time yet. I am going to wait well. I am going to make a commitment to serve where I am now and not get overly focussed on where I will be going. When God says move, I am going to act. But until then, I will wait! ♡
Where You go, I'll go.

A-to-the-men!!!!! I am newly married as well and finding out how imperfect I am and how imperfect my husband is. And it is the dumbest stuff. But I know its a waiting and adjustment season! :)
My young adult pastor always talked about God ordained waiting rooms and how God specifically puts us into these holding patterns. It isn't wasted time, its time to prepare for the next stage. So wait well, girl! Don't bypass your current circumstance for what's ahead. ♡

I can attest to that! Four months is of great significance to me! Before I moved to GA, my husband (than boyfriend) and I were in a long distance relationship and there was a four month period we were away from each other. It felt like the longest four months ever. Then, when he proposed, we decided on a four month engagement. I think that was really the longest four months ever!
So I can feel the amount of time that poor Nehemiah was waiting... waiting and praying... seeking God in the in-between.
Praying for this journey and for the last spot's winner! I have a friend going to Rwanda soon, as well. I have never really heard of the country or its people- eager to hear testimonies!
