A entire season of barely keeping their heads above water, and finally the President realizes that this isn't what he wanted, and it certainly isn't what his staff signed up for. So he decides to go down with his convictions rather than chase re-election by waffling in the center. I know I'm just recapping, but it's SO good! And yeah, this show is very liberal and very idealistic (not that those two have to go hand in hand, but here they do). But as much as it makes me pine for the current state of things in American politics, I just eat it up.
