Big Government : The New American Way: Bailouts and Dependency

"For the Constitution to be enforced an Office of Constitution Enforcement must be created. It must be set up to actively enforce the Constitution on the Federal government and by extension the State governments as well." Well Cap'n, that office is already up and running. It's called the American Voter, We gets the gubment we deserve.

Big Government : A Time for Choosing: Rick Perry for President

Your logic falls apart once you realize a Presidential veto does not mean a bill doesn't become law when there are 60 votes in the Senate to over ride said veto. Which is why we have to overcome this idea that the Presidential election is the most important...it's not. Our local commissioners, school board, state legislators, US Representatives and US Senators are those that make laws, that is where the Tea Party needs to focus. Anyone but Obama will work as long as we elect conservative legislatures and Governors.

Big Government : Ending the Global Drug War: Voices from the Front Lines

How about they don't do drugs if the above was in effect. Then they keep their jobs. It's called personal responsibility, you make choices and accept the consequences for those choices. I don't want Mr./Mrs pot smoker changing oil in my car, or Dr.Cokehead trying to fill my prescription correctly.

Also, an employer has the right to refuse you employment if your record indicates drug use at any previous employer. An employer has the right to ask previous employer if drug use was reason for dismissal.

Legalize all drugs with the following caveat: All receipients of federal dollars for education, food stamps, welfare or unemployment benefits can be subjected to a drug screen at ANY time during normal business hours...hair sample or blood test can be used. Two failures within a year and your benefits are dropped for a year. No federal dollars for drug rehabilitation, your employer does not have to pay to send you to rehabilitation and your health care costs go up for related health issues due to such drug use. Your employer has the legal right to test you for drug use AT THEIR DISCRETION and if they choose they have a right to fire you over such drug use...The ACLU cannot sue any employer for harassment or any other such crap. If your pulled over for a traffic stop you can be tested for drugs if there is reason to suspect drug use by driver of the vehicle. I'm sure many more consequences of drug use can be listed, but you get the point. Make it legal, but the price to pay for use may be too high (pun intended) for some individuals.

Big Government : Newt Gingrich Is Right on Illegal Immigration

Secure the border FIRST!!! Then we can talk about amnesty. If we give amnesty first, we'll get another 10-12 million illegals in our backyard. One question; if they want a better life for themselves why can't they come through the front door as so many of our ancestors did?

This just in: Barney Frank denounces fanny corks as discriminatory, "98% of the US population will have no problems with these contraptions, but we're putting undue pressure on those of us who enjoy the insertion of various members into the general area under consideration ." Hell, we had members of our coalition dying just because they refused to cover their "Anthony", now you're asking us to go through an extra step and remove said cork? That is discrimination my friend!"

Just as it was a big deal to the leftist in the media to bring down R.Nixon, so too should it be a big deal for the "alternative" media to break a major story involving a politician. As someone above said, it should embarrass the LSM that they did not do their constitutional duty in digging out corruption in the highest of offices, AB just gave a nice elbow nudge to the LSM and hopefully any fools left reading and watching their pap.

Will someone with BIG NADS in congress please ask the president publicly and directly if he is holding the american military hostage to his spending binge. How about someone in the LSM asking the same? No....not one frackin' word from these idiots. Trump, please ask this question. Jesus, it's time to stop the pussyfootin' around and directly question everything this bumbling fool is doing. Sarah, where are you????

You are correct. Obama is trying to surreptitiously arm al-qaeda under the guise of arming "rebels". Yeaaaa, rebels my arse. Watch for the all out attack on Israel very soon if the arming of these rebels happens, then be ready for hell to break loose here in the states. The Unions are getting ready, are you? The stars are aligning, and it ain't gonna turn out well no matter what.

Big Hollywood : Yes, This: In Defense of Justin Bieber

I'm surprised and disappointed reading these comments here. On a blog that has a conservative leaning to it, not one commentator has brought up the constitutionality of the federal government taking tax dollars to support a group that offers abortion. There is not a "right" to have access to an abortion. If a state wants to take taxpayer dollars to offer such a thing, then the people of that state will determine by VOTING if they approve of such a measure. Out of 300 million people, I have no more a right to force my convictions on you as the next person has a right to force theirs on me. Abortion is a personal decision and should be treated as such. Get the federal government out of our personal lives and get on with fixing the "BigSpending" monolith we call Congress. PS On what should be tax day this year ( April 15 but put off until April 18th in observance of Emancipation Day) please attend the opening of Atlas Shrugged at your local movie house.
