Wow! What an excellent and original topic. I feel like so many books published these days (Not just YA, but every category) tend to be in the female POV, unless they're hardcore sci-fi or thrillers. Which is disheartening, because that's actually not the case. Good selection of books!

Most of these I haven't read -- so I can only say I completely agree with FANGIRL (definitely an indie film :D), PRINCESS DIARIES (would've worked so much better as a TV series), and DISCOVERY OF WITCHES. Did you know there's a campaign for Richard Armitage to play Matthew Clairmont for the film? It's picked up by WB, but I'm really hoping it'll be heavily British and less American.
