Thanks. My family was fortunate to not have sustained any damage from the storm. Some were without power for a while, but that seems to be the worst of it.

I've been off the grid for about the past week. I had to make an unscheduled trip to Alabama on Tuesday. We drove through a couple of the towns that were torn up by the tornadoes. I was told that one of them had been hit by an F5. Have you ever seen the movie Twister? Yeah, it was that bad.

On the plus side, I did get to see family that I had not seen in forever.

I'm with you. When Saddam Hussein was executed, I couldn't help but thinking that even though I am very much against the death penalty, the world is a better place without him in it.
My feelings towards the death of Bin Laden are not as kind.
