If so, then the Old Testament would need the same thing because something tells me that Adam didn't sit down with a lump of charcoal and rock and write down Genesis. You could take that band name to the next level and go with "Oral Inerrancy of Virtuous Apostles" or OIVA. The verbal version would be "oye vey".

The interesting question to ask is what was actually written at that time? Some speculate that the New Testament may not have been actually written down until later and was more of an oral tradition for a while. If that is the case, the only writings that Paul would have to reference were the Old Testament and any letters that he and the other apostles may have sent out.

The literal translation of what is typically translated as "Scripture" could be "Writings". The Greek word is graphe which is "to write". The site http://www.preceptaustin.org/2_timothy_316-17.htm lists the literal translation of that verse as "every Writing is God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for setting aright, for instruction that is in righteousness". Those writings that he's referring to are what we now call Scripture.

I have recently discovered the Caribou Blend (disappointingly doesn't contain actual caribou) and the Nantucket Blend (that one's from Green Mountain Coffee). For a bit of a change, my wife tried the Celestial Seasonings Sweet Raspberry iced tea k-cup. She said that it was pretty good for coming out of a k-cup.

My big complaint is that the movie, TV, and game ratings are not the same. How about some consistency to make it easier on the parents and the kids to know how appropriate something is. As it as now, there's some kind of alphanumeric translation table that has to be traversed in my head.

1. First job was mowing the lawn at a landfill. First real job was McDonald's during my freshman year of college (Go IU!) 2. @prodigaljohn is a good read. The latest indulgence is @CoachLouHoltzsh 3. We did the "Email Signup" game back in the early/mid 90s in college with a buddy's mailing address (before email addresses and websites were common). Anytime a commercial came on TV that had a number to call for more information to be sent to you, my roommate and I would call and give them our buddy's name and address. For convenience sake we had his address taped next to the phone on the wall (it was before we could afford a cordless phone). I'm glad to see the game lives on in a modern form.

1. After Thanksgiving. Let the food digest before jumping into merriment. 2. I'm not sure the brand but it's a Chicory coffee in a red bag with a yellow stripe on it. 3. Tiny Bubbles by Don Ho. Seriously, I'd have to say "If We've Ever Needed You" or "If We Are The Body" by Casting Crowns really motivates me. Maybe not in a workout way but motivation none the less. For getting my blood flowing, I really like to listen to "Everyday" by Carly Commando. Very interesting music.

I love it when restaurants make their own tortillas. I can ruin my appetite in no time devouring those little beauties. I love it when my sons have the expression on their face of "getting it". I love it when my sons ask us to come upstairs for prayer time before bed. I also love the old B&W Andy Griffith shows. I love my Keurig coffee maker. Makes it extremely easy to grab a cup of coffee on the way out of the door. My travel food is beef jerky (minced up and shoved between my lip and gum) and Goetze's Caramel Cremes (Bull's Eyes).
