I haven't read the book, but I did see the movie. I enjoyed it a lot. I got teary eyed when the grandfather was talking to her in the hospital telling her he understood if she chose not to stay. That was the most emotional point of the story for me. I was going to read the book, but now I'm not sure if I will. Great review!

I have the Hush Hush series too. Just not sure if I want to get into it.

I prefer first person as well. But I will read both. I choose books on the cover, title and the back script usually.

I have never read Moby Dick. Of course I know the story and I am probably one of the few who has not read it.
