Thank you Felicia for posting your story. I just can't imagine all that you have been through. You are strong! My heart goes out to you and the other foster children with similar stories. We have a little 4 year old with us now and my heart breaks for him. I spend many sleepless nights worrying about him and his future. Your story does help me to understand the many emotions that he may be feeling at this exact moment.

Wow, thank you for this. I wish I had it 3 months ago. Those first few days can be so strange and awkward. Little Z didn't understand nick names at first and got really up set when I would call him things like silly boy or buddy bronco. It took time. You all should write a book on what you've learned. I was never able to find a book on just how to deal with the simple things of foster care. So much of it is the behavioral problems and such.
