Reading this review hurts and I'm so tired of the blatant racism that seems to be popping up in YA books. Publishing really needs to do better. Also f that author.

I call this the Disney Effect. Every animated movie the parents seem to have died or there is no mother in the picture whatsoever. The same can be said of YA. I honestly don't understand. Now if it's a dystopian, apocalypse type story then that is understandable but a majority of the time it down right disturbing. Is there no way to show loving and caring two-parent home? Whether they're traditional or non-traditional (two moms/dads) families.

Maybe you should do a challenge. YA Books that have a two parent home that's not dysfunctional.

Either way this was a great post and I hope more people discuss this topic.

Hahaha, yes to chapter 55. I wonder if Maas will push the boundaries of the sexiness in the next book? Cause I'm all for it. And I agree, protect the Night Court at all cost.

As far as Feyre PTSD, I think most will miss that or gloss over it because they're not paying attention or they mad about how Maas did Tamlin. But if you go back to book one the signs are there.

Will you reread both books or just the one?

I have to agree with you. If a little time was spent on the world-building and system this book would have been way better. Plus a little more character development for Mare. If the author had fleshed her out more she would have been an awesome character but she came off as one-dimensional in my opinion.

Now I don't know if you will Glass Sword but I hope you read just so I can read your review on it.

Yesss to I Hunt Killers and The Star-Touched Queen. Two books I really want to read this year. As for Daughters Unto Devils, I don't know if you will enjoy. It's a bit slow and is not all that scary or intense as the synopsis would make it seems. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on that one. Great list by the way.

I'm always surprised when ppl say they haven't read Fangirl. Love that book and the characters. Aristotle and Dante was a good read. Every other book on your list I have not read. Nice list. Maybe you'll get to it someday lol
