http://effortlessanthropologie.blogspot.com/ : Women\'s Wear Daily gives us the first photos of BHLDN

Oh nice, I see some textures I love and others not so much also some rather nifty cake stands but those might be inspiration pieces? - Am interested to see what they bring to the bridal 'table'. As for the name, I must say I wasn't completely appalled when I heard it was 'Beholden' I rather liked it, but the minute the vowels were removed was another story. Ugh, remember when the urban outfitters website was accessible by typing 'urbn.com'. Really? WHY? I found that quite tiresome and sadly the removal of the vowels from Beholden immediately took me to that old mindset. Nevertheless, name aside, I have confidence in Beholden putting some great stuff out there.

Tablesettings, table settings, table settings! My dear you know that's what I am hoping and praying they roll out as they develop their wedding collection! You know it would be absolutely gorge, enchanted forest-esque settings that would be $$'s i'm sure but oh so so worth it! x

I found my cape! Popped into the Anthro on 16th and 5th and there was one in the far back corner of the sales rack..and even better the store was doing 25% off, so what was formerly a $198 item I got for $39...insane! What a great start to the weekend, hope you all have a good one!

http://effortlessanthropologie.blogspot.com/ : Styled with Anthro: versatile work and on-the-go

This is brill. I appreciate the versatility of the outfits most  - indoors, outdoors, to work, at work and after work. That was very good to see, because lets face it - thats the reality of each day.   However, I am interested as to the principles of WHY these patterns and textures work together. I understand shape wise the choices Jeff made but as you mentioned with Anthro there is a wonderful plethora of pattern...I am always worried about looking like a walking haberdasher if I wear more than one anthro piece at a time! Is it the muted colour of the cords and the top that makes it all look cohesive and the shoes the pop to excite the outfit?   The ability to put anthro patterns and texture together like a grown up would make my heart happy!  And for the record Keenan looks AMAZING in that "Flutter Sleeve Tunic ($88),  A Separate Space Skirt ($98),  Feather-Clasped Belt ($58), Waving Grain Pumps ($148). " outfit! Tell me you are going to get that combo Keenan..love it lots!  saer { craven maven }

I am forever and, I suspect, pointlessly holding out for the 'beast feet' tureen to go on sale. I love that thing something awful. If and when I get it I fully intend to christen it with a stew/stroganoff party!

I used to work in an industry where I couldn't eat garlic at ALL the day before work..so it was a once per week treat. Now, I love to throw the roasted stuff in my golden beet and goat cheese dip: http://cravenmaven.wordpress.com/2010/07/23/just-... yum!
