My Mom is like that, she doesn't like the food anywhere. I used to buy her Christmas presents and she would look at it and say "Take it back, I don't want it." I eventually stopped buying her anything. She is probably happier that way. Next time save your money and leave her (the MIL) home.

A million dollars is not a giant amount of money anymore. I would buy two houses, one in Orlando, Fl probably a $300,000 one and live there in the winter. In the summer I would buy one where it is cooler. I would just live on the rest of the money. I would also go to the Florida Keys all the time. I love the keys.

I agree with you that I like to interact with people and have them comment back. I leave a lot of comments and people hardly ever return the comment. The blogs with hundreds of comments makes me wonder if they even read the comments. They are the ones who get paid from having a lot of viewers, so their blog becomes their job. I will be back to read more.

I lost power for 8 days when I lived in Florida and a hurricane knocked out the power. I didn't really miss the internet, I missed power and air conditioning. I do love the internet though, but if I had my choice of power or internet, it would be power.

I like your blog. I blog like my life. It is a memory keeper. I like to share some of my pictures I take. I only have a few people who read it. In this world of millions and millions, only about 30 people view my blog a day. They probably land on it and go "Oh, NO, I don't want to be here. I used to be on Spaces. I had lots of blogger friends on there. Every single person that I traded comments with got featured. It is like they read my blog to find who I follow. It kind of freaked out the people that got featured. They didn't like the instant attention and a lot of them stopped blogging. I wil subscribe to your blog, because you have been blogging a long time. I have too. Nice to meet you via your blog.

I used to use newspaper to put in the bottom of my bird cages. You can also wrap Christmas presents with them. Wrap up coffee grounds. I think you can use them to make compost. You can fold one to make a fan. That is all I have.
