It looks like a lovely celebration! I am going to try this donut recipe. I tried my hand at cider donuts yesterday, trying to replicate the ones from my childhood in New England with slightly less horrific ingredients! and it was a complete fail. I used the recipe from "The Lost Kitchen" but maybe I tweaked it too much. And perhaps my thermometer is not accurate? Sigh. YOURS look delicious! Also, thanks for the book shares.
