Is it strange that I really want to read this, especially after reading your review? Lol. I will be prepared for the bawling. I think it is important to read fiction like this because it makes us more sympathetic to others that have really experienced this kind of stuff. And if we are the ones who have delt with these issues that are reading the book, then sometimes it is a very cathartic experience.
I usually ignore the rating of a book, and I try not to read any reviews for it beforehand. But sometimes it's impossible to ignore bad/good buzz making the rounds. I have read some books that were torn apart on goodreads and ended up loving them. :-)
So glad you enjoyed this book! I reviewed it on the blog tour and included a picture of my ideal Bishop. I absolutely LOVED this book!
