I don't dispute this at all - everybody should and must pay their dues before moving up. I would just rather have Paige and Emma ply their trade on a wrestling-centric show than have them jump in this Total Divas mess we're seeing on Raw.

To be fair, I'd rather see Paige and Emma duke it out for the WWE NXT Divas belt for now. No Total Divas BS angle - just pure, old school feuding.

But what constitutes as a "great" show, then? Not going on the offensive here, but I think it's a legit question. Is it a great show if the storyline follows the script running in our heads? Is a show great if it attempts to weave a narrative where good triumphs over evil and maintain it for a prolonged period of time (which is what I think the Creative Team is trying to do with this storyline)? Also, it also begs to ask what makes a "terrible" show. Just throwing it out there.

Rory McAllister drives an interesting point.

Although it's great that Drew seems to be saying the right things and doing what the company tells him to do, I think it's also important to show that he -deserves- to be placed in a better spot on television. There are far too many wrestlers nowadays who think that their skills, given time and patience, would get them to the main event. That's always not the case.

Sometimes, wrestlers need to be heard, make a statement, break the mold. Case in point - CM Punk's promos from last year. Yes, it's risky and may cost a wrestler his job, but something's got to give.
