Well, either ways, if the couple is really happy together then both forms of marriage are perfectly acceptable! Have seen happy couples from both sides and this includes my friends and relatives! It is when others try to interfere in the marriage by means of dowry demands, certain demands from the groom's side and the groom himself. A friend recently rejected the marriage proposal from the guy she loved so dearly only because of the unfair demands made from his side. It was a sad thing to hear about but such is the nature of marriages here that more often than not the couples take the back seat while the familes of these couples soak in the limelight!
