Funnily enough, the smell of peanuts reminds me of Christmas. Grandma used to make peanut butter candy, and mum would make peanut-chocolate clusters. I can't smell peanuts without thinking of those special Christmas treats.

My mum used to sometimes make a special "Submarine Sandwich" (hotdog bun salad roll with a pickle fastened to the top for the 'submarine' effect). My worst lunchbox memory was when someone from my Year 1 class stole my Submarine Sandwich! I cried and cried.

I love that first photo and quote ..... although it must not be easy for you to be thankful for the possibility that this may be a 'bad thing', but I am encouraged beyond words that you can even approach it from this angle!! You're an inspiration, Trish. I am still praying for you all.

Trish, I am so sorry to read your news. I believe in God, I believe in miracles, I believe in the mighty power of prayer, and I will pray for you. Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart."

I just love their rainbow clipboard -

but my daughter is a bear fanatic so she'd love any of the bear products, especially the bag tags or the stencils.

My best tip would be to just USE as much as you can and that automatically reduces and recycles a lot of the 'rubbish'. Eg, we use cardboard boxes for a child's box-construction creativity, and then when they are old I shred them to either use as cat litter or put in the compost bin. So many things thought of as 'rubbish' can be used much more than once.

I'd love to re-do our honeymoon photos - taken back in the days when you actually put film in your camera (and it was expensive!!) If only I could have taken multiple shots of all our favourite places!!

I love your photos and the idea of being on that beautiful, sunny beach! (I have a houseful of sick kids and it's damp and dreary here, so we're just watching movies and reading books.)

Looks like great fun. We go through paper plane-making 'crazes' every so often.

Happy birthday (belated, of course) to your handsome boys. My "baby" also turned 6 last month, and although I miss the baby days I enjoy watching her grow more independent and confident as the weeks pass.

I had one of a pair of twins come to me for piano lessons for about 6 years. I only saw his twin occasionally and was always able to tell them apart when I did, much to the disgust of his family and close friends who were always guessing. I think those particular identical twins liked knowing there were some people who viewed them as individuals rather than two halves of one.
