Conservatives should go after changes in inheritance tax as that effects home owner of whatever age and young people who hope to inherit one day. Remember how powerful it was when George Osborne raised the limits.

As my then constituency MP I met John major a couple of times and a nicer man you could not meet and Norma too. He came across much better in a small setting, warm and empathetic in a way that somehow rarely came across in the media. He was also a surprisingly attractive man in person. I agree with you about his EU misjudgements and regards Heath with loathing for effectively lying to get us into the EU and I voted to stay in based on the same lies.

Don't forget too how police produced a lying witness who went to jail, lied about a meeting which fortunately was recorded and still can't understand why he was found to be lying considering their record in the case. I have no trust in the police at all now.

He is my MP too and on the one occasion I had reason to contact him I found him very helpful and courteous. I am more seriously disturbed by the actions of vindictive policemen then that my MP may have watched some legal porn or may have touched someone's knee.

Some years ago, as a 65 year old widow living alone, thumbnail pictures appeared on my computer, I have no idea how they got there. They were nudes and dancing girls, not particularly pornographic but I ended up having to call a helpline to learn how to get rid of them. It might surprise people what is on their computer that they have no knowledge of.

Very true, I let my house for two years when I was unable to sell, my buyer pulled out due to the crash. This three bedroom house had been my home for 10 years and, when my husband died I wanted to move near my son. The house was in perfect order, having been newly decorated to sell and with new carpets fitted. Never, ever again! You would not believe the condition it was left in, it cost me £5,000 to restore it to saleable condition, I would have been better off leaving it empty. I was heartbroken it was our home. Forgive me for not having much sympathy in every case.

Also in Scotland offers are made subject to survey, at least when I lived there until 1996. Buying and selling was certainly much easier and far less stressful than in England.

The respectable area I grew up in has been taken over by Roma from all over Eastern Europe, it has been turned into a tip, a high crime rate of theft and sexual assaults. Slum landlords don't care, they are mostly an earlier generation of immigrants from Pakistan. Of what use are these people? They don't work, have loads of kids, you can't get into the local surgery and very few Scottish children in the local school. Even worse they are involved with people trafficking to marry off young women to men wanting a wife from the EU to enable them to stay, is a scandal. I have nothing against immigrants who work, are not dependent on benefits they never contributed to but I really can't see what these people bring to us. Also wonder why our small island is home to 3 + million of EU citizens while only 1.5 Britons live in the whole continent! Can't see answers or why these people can't be sent back? I am all for freedom of labour but that should be the operative word.

If there had been a contest TMs weaknesses as a campaigner would have been obvious. I hope we don't make the same mistake next time.

I am retired now and there is no way I could afford private insurance given my age and having had cancer a few years ago. However when I could no longer get annual scans after five years I asked about paying for one for the next few years. This was arranged and I am perfectly willing to pay for them, I know not everyone could do this but speaking to friends in the same position we were all willing to pay for scans as the GP can no longer refer directly, it has to go before the trust who seem to intent in cutting down the numbers. Surely any extra cash would be welcome, I have paid more at the vet.
