I (very) briefly dated a guy who off the bat went on about himself financially. How he had security clearance, worked high up at Lockheed, only wore the finest Italian suits, nice car yada yada yada I guess to try and impress me. I thought he was nice looking and we shared a love for 80's music so that's why I gave him a shot. Any time he brought up his 2000 credit score I changed the subject.

It wasn't until we were supposed to go out on date number 4 or something when I told him I was on my way, I was just waiting for my hair to airdry out a little more. He had never seen me with curly hair at that point. His response "Curly hair?.....like natural hair!?......I would think you would want to look your best when you are with me.......I need my women with long straight hair"

Lets just say, that date was cancelled and he was not called back. I don't do superficial shallow jerk wads looking for a trophy girl gold digger.

I am a Christian...in fact I'm a ministry leader at my church.
Life comes with choices as you know, hence we were given free will when God chose to make us.
That free will gives us an opportunity to not read certain posts if you dont like the message. There are some posts on this website that I love so dearly that I don't have an interest in, therefore I don't click on it. See how easy it is?

Not everyone agrees with my comments all the time and I certainly don't agree with everyone else all the time, but that is what makes us human and love we have for each other on this blog allows for healthy debate while still remaining friends in the end (well at least in most cases).

I still believe in Christ our Saviour, I still believe in His teachings and I am still striving daily (more on other days) to bo the Christian that He called me to be. And I can do all that while being a part of this community. As the saying goes, one plants the seed, and one waters, but only God gives the increase (1 Cor 3:7-9) so please be careful as you plant and/or water because you do not want a harvest of nothing at the end.
