Agreed, awareness doesn't pay the bills, but people don't want a 24 hour commercial either. I've definitely used Sm to drive traffic for specific offers and such, and had good, if not great results. I think Sm is so new, no one can truly speak as an \"expert\" and say that any one way is right.

Discussion leads to better awareness and better ideas... good to have dialog.

Thanks for Connecting,

Tony Marciante
WhatDoesTonyDo?
Chef Tonys Restaurant
24 Hour Google Voice # 240.391.8669 (TONY)
Let's Connect LinkedinFacebookTwitterWordpressYoutube

--- @ WiseStamp Signature.
While I can't claim thousands of fans (yet), I have def used SM to booster the awareness of my small restaurant in the highly competitive town of Bethesda, Md. Essentially using Twitter, FaceBook and other social sites, I'm trying to just build overall awareness and community building. I will self critique and say that I need to do more to have "call to actions' and such to drive trackable sales, but I do feel that it has tremendous potential and especially for the small guys, HAS to be a part of your overall marketing strategy.
